Embroidery Basics Series
I’ve begun a video series to explore the basics of hand embroidery. It is just right for beginners, although seasoned embroiderers might enjoy it and have something to contribute to the conversation, as well!
Have you ever been drawn to all those pretty threads at the craft store, admiring the different colors and textures? You’re not quite sure what to do with them, but you have a few ideas. The first video (above) is all about basic embroidery supplies and also includes some visual teasers of projects to come in future videos in this series. The second video (below) is a step by step tutorial teaching the running stitch and the seed stitch, two simple stitches just right to get you started with embroidery! Happy making! XOXO
