Patterns
Patterns are everywhere! Look up, look down, look all around, and you are likely to see patterns. They are in the clothes we wear, the food we eat, the games we play, and the songs we sing - open your eyes and ears to notice patterns all around you! In this video, I share simple early learning activities to encourage children's cognitive development by noticing and creating patterns. These activities develop critical thinking and number sense, work to strengthen fine motor skills, and introduce basic pre-writing and pre-reading concepts.
If you are interested in more early learning activities, check out this post + video with activities for teaching colors and shapes. With my mind working overtime thinking up individualized activities for my Preschool students, I anticipate sharing more of these type of resources in the future, and my hope is that they are helpful to many! xoxo
